Why Laundry Is a Critical Part of Treatment!

Laundry is one of the most important steps in a successful bed bug treatment. All clothing, linens, pillows, curtains, and soft goods need to be heat-treated as part of the prep process. Putting items through a dryer on high heat for one hour eliminates all life stages of bed bugs including eggs. It is a time-consuming but essential step, and one we can handle for you.

Our technicians come to your home and manage the entire bagging process. All garments from dresser drawers, linens from beds, curtains, and plush items are carefully removed and bagged. Any tightly packed soft goods from bedrooms and living spaces are included as well. We use a clear system to keep everything organized: black bags are untreated, clear bags are done. Nothing gets mixed up.

Once bagging is complete, all items are counted, weighed, and charted before being taken for treatment. When returned, everything comes back in labeled clear bags so you can see exactly what is in each one and prioritize putting everyday essentials away first.
