Why Choose Heat

The tiny white dots in this image are bed bug eggs on a box spring.

Female bed bugs can lay 1 to 5 eggs per day and up to 500 eggs in their lifetime. Bed bug eggs are the size of a grain of salt. The eggs are sticky and adhere to almost any surface.

Bed bugs have developed a resistance to pesticide. Traditional pesticide treatments have become less effective, taking multiple treatments because the pesticides have little, to no effect on bed bug eggs.

The majority of pest control company’s sell packages of 2 to 3 sprays to start for that reason. Additionally they will sometimes ask  you to discard of furniture that is heavily infested.

Heat is the only guaranteed way to rid your home of bed bugs in 1 visit. At temperatures of 125F+ bed bugs and their eggs  can not survive for longer than 1 minute. Choosing a heat treatment over pesticides will eliminate your bed bug problem in 1 visit, no harmful chemicals in your home and you do not have to discard any of your furniture!
